Dear UK Peeps Who Know Stuff,
Have ewe noticed these things recently ?
[ Invalid Attachment ]
I've seen them lingering around the neighbourhood over the last few weeks. Some have been in peoples driveways...this fine specimen as ewe can probably see was in the gutter....but I have no idea what they are.
we had one in our drive way too !
What is it? what does it do ?...is a prelude to an invasion by alien species of plastic tubular thingies ?
I am worried ! and have taken to standing guard over the bottles of fizzy pop in our fridge in case they decide to make a pre-emptive strike !
Thanks
Neil

Neil...They look like those plastic covers for freezer pops ...flavored frozen goodness that kids and adults like to partake of in the warmer weather! Has your weather been warmer..?
We call them freeze pops here! Popsicles also!
-
Thanks for that Kareny Mam, On closer insepcton they seem too industrial for that kind of thing, but that's a good suggestion.
I will see if I can find another one and take better piccys !
-
I found one...it was in my neighbours front garden (US Translation service "Garden" = "yard"...sheesh !!)

The ones here are just like that heavy duty plastic to prevent such easy choking.. the other end has been removed they are like double that and you cut them in two one pop on each end usually.. but the plastic is pretty heavy because the kids have to slide them in their mouth and pull the icee pop forward with their teeth! kinds like an otter pop!
