what I mean by plasma bolt is something like this.
A literal "bolt" of pure energy, strong enough to be used as a weapon. I know it's probably possible but I don't know how. It would interesting to be the person to invents the plasma rifle, every military institution/organization would pay big bucks for futuristic plasma bolt weapons, we would literally out date the black powder gun and replace the market for fire arms world wide, if you and I were to invent it then we would be showered in gold and riches, our names would go down in history and bitches will kneel at our feet. now that I've caught your attention the first step to doing this is one thought.
HOW
How can we archive such a feet worthy of both the greatest scientists or sorcerers.
I know my way around plasma physics and chances are you on this forum know your way around physics too If we put our brains together then we can figure it out.
and potentially get any and everything we want period.
This string on this forum shall be the starting point. All we need to do is fire out thoughts, brain storm on the subject in the comments section below.

I shall give the first thought which is pretty logical, my theory on how it could be possible to make a plasma bolt deals with the physics of a solar storm and the phenomenon known as a magnetic reconnection. to explain, look at this video presentation.
As seen in the video a solar storm is basically a huge plasma bolt. the unusual disconnected magnetic field causes heated, charged particles to travel great distances. It is pretty close to a "pure energy bolt" if you could mimic the actions if the sun and make a magnetic reconnection then you would have made a tiny solar storm or plasma bolt. Its not much but it's a starting point in the quest to make a plasma ball.
