Title: Can you do a show on ionic liquids please?

I heard the Material World podcast on this stuff - it gives me hope that we can survive in an industralised world without poisoning ourselves in the process. More people should hear about this.

Yes - the Material World podcast (BBC Podcast) was good - I listened to it last night. Do we need to duplicate it though?
I was going to add a link, but it's just gone from the BBC page now it's 7 days are up [:(]

When I was at school (GCSE's in 1991) we were taught that a charactistic of ionic compounds was that they were solid at room temperature and had very high melting points. Looks like this was somewhat of a simplification/generalisation...  [:D]
