Title: How contageous is Mono?

You can only get it once right? Like chicken pox? Or is it like a normal flu type virus?

I though I heard both..but I can't remember no more!

I believe you can get it lots of times. It can be either a baterial or viral infection depending on what strain you have,My girlfriend when I was a kid was always getting it..hers was viral! There were twelve siblings and they all were sharing the bathroom water cup!

Yep. Your welcome. I don't know exactly, but it seemed really hard to get rid of for her. they switched to individual paper cups from a dispencer and paper towels instead of cloth and no one drank from the same cup for a very long time around there . A couple years as I recall!
