Title: Could you become a God by traveling at the speed of light?
Post by: Mohammad Alkenni on 25/10/2015 08:31:37
Don’t let the title of this paper through you off its just a euphemism to what I’m trying to introduce in this paper, now is it possible to become a god my answer would be YES but be warned it’s very difficult to do so, I know many people will be reading this paper and saying (oh yeah another atheist is trying to belittle god this is getting old) and for that ill say you can’t be farthest from the truth, I’m a big believer of god, in this paper I’m just trying to explain the dimension where god resides and how it powers work from my own physics perspective with that being said I urge you to read the article to the end and then judge it criticize it or even ignore it,  just keep in mind that this is just a wild theory.

We all know that the speed of light is 299,792 kilometers per second which equal the speed of time which means time and light have the same speed, so we as humans are living under the laws and boundaries and restrictions of time we can’t move and run at the speed of time because speed of time equals the speed of light and the speed of light is called massless speed a speed that has no mass that means no flesh no bones and if a human tried to run as fast as light his heart would explode and his body will be cut to shreds so folks don’t try this at home.

Now what if we could move to the speed of light and our bodies could endure it, now think with me as I said earlier we are bound by the laws and restrictions of time because it's faster than us and we can’t catch up to its speed many of us repeat this daily (I have no time to do this, I can’t keep up with the deadline, time is of the essence) and all these statement are true because time is so fast that we are bound by its restrictions and we all have to play according to its rules either if we like it or not that’s why everything we do today is based on a timeline even we have happy hour at the bar’s all over the world there is break time there is time for literally everything every aspect of our life is controlled and managed by time and that’s all very great till we reach to the understanding that our time on this earth and our own mortality are limited by time itself,  we get older and our bodies decay and age due to the effect of time on us, so it appears that time is our ally and our enemy at the same TIME.

So time has this power and effect on our bodies, so what can we do about it?!
Imagine with me if we can move as fast as time what will happen, time will get slower and slower and when you reach to its speed times stops for you but not for everyone else’s. and when time stops you don’t age you don’t feel hungry you don’t feel thirsty you are not bound by the laws of time anymore you are running with time you are his peer and his equal and time has no power over you, and you become an observer of the power that time has over every living being and every object, now what if you run faster than time itself and here is where things get interesting, lets back up a little when time was faster than us we were bound by its laws and its effects on us but when we matched its speed it dominion over us stopped and was nullified but what if we run faster than time, would time be bound by our rules and laws the answer to that is YES and I said yes because it’s the logical outcome time faster than us we are bound by it we matched its speed his effects stopped we ran faster than time its only logical to think that it would be somewhat bound by us or at the very least we can change the course of time, and then and only then you can become a god that can alter time and events to its liking not just on earth but also in the universe, so what I realized that I don’t need a flashy costume like superman or the sword of Excalibur or the hammer of Thor nor the lighting of Zeus to control the world and the universe I just need to run really fast to the point I beat time at its game and have control over it, and you can access a whole new dimension that will allow you view the universe and the world from your own perspective.

And that how I think god is controlling the universe from a physics point of view because when you beat time you become immortal you literally have all the time in the world to change it and make it to your liking but be warned you might become a bit lonely that your loneliness will become boredom and your boredom will force you to start wars and to create disasters and conflicts among humans for your own amusement.

Not only is your theory wrong but you posted it in a place where you're not supposed to post "new/personal" theories. There's an entire subforum whose purpose is just that. Go to:

You can not become that which does not exist in the first place, this is science, sorry we do not really do gods in science would be an honest answer to you.

what about when Albert Einstein refused the quantum mechanic theory saying GOD doesn't play dice with the universe

If Albert Einstein believed in the possibility of a God , that was his choice. If we defined God differently then maybe the logic would twist my arm into believing there was a ''God''.

I believe God was a word that preceded the word space , that was the same word for space.  All religion offers creation in the form of early psuedo science.
The word space and god have the same properties when considering both are immortal, both are all around and everywhere, both are in us, both are needed to exist.

Logically a ''God'' in a higher being form would need space to exist in , so space would be a higher power than a ''God''.   A ''God'' did not create space, a ''God'' is space.

You have to consider that in history, way before our time, by lack of technologies and science that the world was in fact quite stupid. Not much was known, religion and ''god'' was the dead end that was reached, some people did not accept this so went off to do science to discover true meanings.

Consider science can make light, science can make lots of things, would you consider science a ''God''?   of cause not.

that's all sound great, but ill take Einstein's choice over yours if that's alright with you, you made some valid points and i'm welling to accept some of them to some extent, and remember in my theory i said this is just a wild theory. and what you mentioned about space being god i tried to look that over but i couldn't find a reference for it could you provide me with a reference please thanks for your comment i found it to be refreshing  [:)]

The only reference to this is myself, there is no mention of this, this is something I considered when I discoursed religion and science to compare some equalities to conclude a single outcome of previous events.  I call this specific moment in time, the science-religion divide. Religion started out as science, creation showing us the thinking involved in the earliest psuedo science form.
Most religions define a God,   most religions argue over a definition and the context involved, however religion is all arguing about the same thing, when actually its one word not several meanings to one word.
Religion argues with each other about all the things that are made up  from when the dead end was reached and the great science-religion-religion divide occurred.

Religion , science, atheists all look to space for answers , and what we cannot observe, the boundary of limited observation, we all make up things.

This seems to be talking about some type of time dilation.
I can see a couple of problems with this speculation:
- If you wish to make some changes in the frame of reference of Earth, moving very rapidly relative to Earth will make it appear to someone on Earth that time is moving slowly for you, and you are aging slowly.
- But from your viewpoint, everything is happening at the usual rate, so you aren't long-lived at all!
- From either frame of reference, if you are moving very rapidly, that gives you little visibility of what is happening on Earth, and little opportunity to change it in a controlled way.]

at the very least we can change the course of time
Time travel has always been a favorite topic of science fiction (some of them more serious than Terminator or Doctor Who), because then you can dream up all sorts of mayhem in which to engage.

But so far, anything more than unidirectional time travel has remained out of our grasp; some claim that it is impossible, as it would violate the principle of Causality (which seems to be a good principle, in the absence of a time machine or faster-than-light warpdrive).

 Hi Mohammad, welcome to TNS.

Pete is right, of course, this should be in new theories, and much of the ensuing discussion is also misplaced.

I’m no expert, but I see a few problems with your reasoning, from the point of view of relativity in particular.

From a metaphysical perspective you make some interesting points.  Have you read Fred Alan Wolf’s “The Yoga of Time Travel”? if not give it a go, you might find it interesting.

Could you become a God by traveling at the speed of light?

No. Or possibly Yes. But since you can't travel at the speed of light, don't waste too much time on the subject.

It's well known by Einstein historians and those who are knowledgeable of Einstein's religious beliefs that he was a pantheist. Pantheism is defined here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantheism
Quote
Pantheism is the belief that the Universe (or nature as the totality of everything) is identical with divinity,[1] or that everything composes an all-encompassing, immanent god.[2] Pantheists thus do not believe in a distinct personal or anthropomorphic god.
So in a very small way "the box" is partially correct.
