For the past 7-8 years i have a question going on in my mind ."WHAT AND WHERE IS THE UNIVERSE"?
This question seems to be so simple but it is not so,i know.If u can help or
guide me i will be grateful to you.

The Universe is....well....it's absolutely everywhere and totally everything !..It's everything and everywhere you can see, touch, taste, smell, imagine...it's everything below your feet, above your head for the most unimaginably vast distances and time..and also it's between your head and toes too. Every single thing you can see anywhere, everything you read or hear about in the Cosmos, is contained within The Universe.............except a certain rodents ego ! [:)]

The question of "where" the Universe is may very well be misleading. If our Universe is indeed all of the space that exists (it might not be, but let's assume for a moment that it is), then there is no space outside of the Universe and therefore the Universe is not "in" anything. This question brings to mind some similar questions such as "what is north of the North Pole?", "what happened before time existed?" or "what does a piece of aluminum smaller than an aluminum atom look like?"

Fact.
The detected material mass of the matter in the Universe, the average density
of all substance in the Universe is approximately p=10^-30 g/sm^3 and therefore
the Universe, as whole, is “open”, endless.
Supposition.
90% or more of the matter in the Universe are "dark matter" and "dark energy".
These "dark matter" and "dark energy" can “close” the endless Universe.

the Universe, as whole, is open, endless.
Supposition.

I believe the current thinking is that dark energy is responsible for the the observed accelerating expansion of the universe. This would be more consistent with the inflation model and a 'flat' universe, and would not be consistent with a closed universe.
I have to say, I'm more comfortable with a nice cozy closed universe. Actual infinity bugs me. The bigger space is, the smaller we are. That's just my personal hang up. Science would seem to indicate otherwise.

Why would it be more consistent with a flat universe? Inflation can still occur in a closed universe. Take the analogy of a balloon. It can still inflate or expand. It has no boundary, but it is not infinite.

I agree. Inflation by itself would not preclude a closed universe, but a flat universe would seem to. From what I've read, flatness is evidence for inflation, since a universe which had a beginning would have to expand enormously to get "flat", at least to the best of measurement techniques. I guess you could say the universe could still be closed if the universe deviated from flatness at all. I read one estimate that such a closed universe could be 10^50 times larger than the visible universe although I can't put my finger on the source right now. That's still way too roomy for me.

Flat as far as we can measure is a different matter to actually being flat. But here's another point - if the universe is not flat, would we know it? Light tries to follow a straight line; but if the space it is travelling through is uniformly curved, we would still see its path as a straight line.
