General Science / If I jump before a falling lift hits the ground, will I escape injury?

Your in a falling lift, if you jump before it hits the bottom, so your i nthe air when it stops.
would hurt you at all?
would you be able to jump?
would the impact break your legs?


this has puzzled me

Does anyone have any links they can give me on experiments i can do with items i find in my household stuff. i dont mean experiments like sodium bicarbonate + vinegar. i mean the big boys stuff. like. How to make your own sodium.
