Title: Is there a link between migraines and food intake?
Post by: paul.fr on 07/09/2007 17:36:20
As someone who has a pretty low intake of food, and a migraine sufferer, i have noticed that quite often i can clear a migraine by simply eating something oily and fatty.

Is this just something "i know works" to clear a migraine, or is there a link between migraines and a particular diet?

ok i'm not going to bed yet... because i know half of the answer to this. according to my doctors, migraines are caused by a variety of different triggers. stress, hormone changes, and diet are all on that list. i don't know for sure that it's a lack of oils or fats, but that could very well be what triggers your particular migraines.

Thank you, Kadie.

Actually it is any filling meal, which usually means a trip to the fish shop. So the fact that i eat very little is a factor.
