Title: A Deceased Ant !

Why , when encountering a 'passed' ant will another ant grab it and drag it somewhere ?..presumably back to the nest !

Is this true...do they cannibalise their deceased ?...

If nothing else ants don’t waste their time on anythis unnecessary. I can't see them bring it back for a burial do you?

I would guess yes they do, but that would only be a presumption on my part. I know some are definitely meat eaters Ehhh!
