Title: Can trees make clouds?

Small particles released by tree leaves can cause brighter whiter clouds to form above forests, altering our climate...

The trees in the Amazon and the Congo very much create their own environment, and the forests are otherwise much cooler than would be predicted by their locations, or things like surface Albedo.  Certainly down inside the shady forests is much cooler than out on an open hot hillside.

This is actually one of the risks that South America and Africa have with the destruction of these great forests.
