Geek Speak / Dragon Age: Origins wont start
« on: 01/02/2011 07:19:08 »
Hello,
On my recently built computer I decided to play Dragon Age: Origins. However, I put the cd in and I can hear the dvd drive start up and try to read it... and that's it. I then tried to open it through 'my computer' but it is as if the cd weren't even in or it doesn't resognise that it's in.
I then decided to see if Mass Effect worked as it is Bioware again, and it works fine. It's just Dragon Age it doesn't seem to like very much. It works fine though however on my laptop.
Any ideas why it's doing this? I can't patch it either because I can't even install it.
Any help would be greatly appreiciated. I know this isn't rally very sciencey related but I'm hoping someone here may be able to help anyway. It's still geeky
Thanks,
Daerana
