In my opinion, wisdom is when your philosophy coincides with your actions and does not contradict them.

Wisdom is the state of being wise.
It has the knowledge of how the world works, typically based on experience.

It has nothing to do with religion; some religious individuals may be wise but there's no guarantee.

It is knowledge that you put into effect.

Calling a tomato a fruit is knowledge. Eating it with salt rather than cream is wisdom.

All more or less along the same lines:

Wisdom is knowing what you don't know   -- Based on a Socrates quote, but not how he put it.

“Intelligence is knowing the right answer. Wisdom is knowing when to say it.”  ― Tim Fargo

"To know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom" -- Spurgeon

Wisdom is being wise if you are crawling under your house remembering not to stand up. I am a wise guy.

This also reminds me of medicine and physiotherapy students
who do physics and advunced math/s instead of biology in HS
to get a high/er score and who then promptly forget all of it!
Yes, they climb a big ladder and destroy the runs on the way up that makes coming down very nasty. It's a little bit like forgetting how one got there.
