Are there any other natural products which can replace sugar but has less disadvantage when consumed?
Corn syrup for example causes an increase in your triglyceride levels and your LDL (bad) cholesterol.
[MOD EDIT - PLEASE PHRASE YOUR THREAD TITLES AS QUESTIONS IN FUTURE. THANKS. CHRIS]

There are now sugar substitutes made from stevia on the market. Google "sugar and stevia" and several turn up.
This question is rather well timed- I saw my first commercial for the stuff on TV today during the second and third football games this afternoon, about the only time the TV is on besides when the news or an educational program I want to watch is on.
