Post by: thedoc on 20/03/2013 18:07:36
This time of year coughs and sneezes are a common complaint, but just how fast is a sneeze.

Read more about this experiment. (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/HTML/content/kitchenscience/garage-science/exp/how-fast-is-a-sneeze/)

Garage science is a blog of science experiments you probably can't or shouldn't do at home

Okay not exactly relevant, but I find a good way of instigating a sneeze… is to pluck some nasal hair!

Sometimes when I sneeze, there's a smell of beeswax or honey. And other people can get it too so it's not just between my nose and brain. But it never happens on the induced (ie plucked) sneeze.
Yeah sorry about all that…!

Hi there! Just to say job well done.

My English wasn't very good, but I think you might have made a typo here:

"Some iruses have taken advantage of this reaction"

Should it be "viruses"?

Thanks!
