Title: What experiment was carried out to evolve E. coli in the lab?

On a past episode I heard something about a experiment that ran for 20 years studying the evolution of 10-12 different populations of E. coli.  Could you give references please.

There's been a few different papers resulting from the long-term ecoli experiments, but there's a good list of Richard Lenski's publications here:  http://myxo.css.msu.edu/Publications.html
