why oh why oh why
-
mine's usually clear. i thought that green was a sign of infection
-
I think its for the same reason blood is red, tissue is white and..thats alli can think of. But im guessing its because of the stuff inside it?
-
i don't think its being green has a purpose, its just a result of the shape of the molecules that make it up and the way they reflect light.

It's clearly obvious !!
Up your nose lives Olfactory Fairies !
They are very proud and enjoy strolls throughout the whole sinus system. Not only are they house proud but are keen horticulturists. Hours are spent tending their vines and preening their lawns.
When ewe get a cold, this brings germs into their nasal gardens, and nasal germs love nasal grass......to rid themselves of the germs first the Olfactory Fairies send the germs polite notices to be on their way....if this does not work..then next comes harsh language...failing that the Olfactory Fairies then spray the germs away with small hoses.....this washes them away...at the same time...the flushing effect picks up the green dye of the nasal garden and voila !!......green mucous !!...
see ?..I told you it was obvious !!..I can see ewe slapping your forehead for not realising it !!
Glad I could help !

When mucous is green, yellow or brown usually means a sign of infection.. Clear mucous usually means your healthy though not necsessarily as it could also mean a start of infection.. Ive just been excreting lots of mucous.. And the colours have been changing many times in the past few days.. X)
