everyone has heard of Ozzy Osuburn right! Well you all know how he can't talk good to save his life. Yet he has such an amazing singing voice. How is that? Wouldn't the drugs screw it all up? I'm confused!

Can't say much about the particular case (I know the name, but I cannot say I have ever been that interested in the guy, or ever heard him talk).
In the general matter, singing and talking use different parts of the brain.

I am in the same boat.. never heard him sing! heard his voice on his really silly show but wouldn't remember it if I wanted.!

Wow never knew that. Thanks George

Yep, ewe often get people who stutter but sing really well stutter free.
Also, ewe find accents 'seem ' to disappear too when one sings.
I once made a thread on it...I'll see if I can find it !!

Can't believe I found it so easily !!

Assuming that his speech isn't an act for the benfit of the cameras, one possible explanation is that he knows the lyrics to the songs so he doesn't have to think while he sings. If the rock and roll lifestyle damaged his cognitive processes without affecting memory that would explain it.

Ahh I see thank you all
