Hey guys, ive noticed since the cold weather has started to set in, that when it gets very cold, i start to get goosepimples (which is a defense against cold, from what i have gathered, correct me if i am wrong) but why do i shake? and when i stop myself shaking, i get warmer..but start shaking again [:P]

I think ' shivering ' is a way that the body reacts when it is cold to in fact generate heat. It can also be the first symptoms of a fever but in your case it is clearly because you were cold. The act of shivering uses energy and this creates heat. When you get cold again, you shiver again!
