Dear People Who Eat and Those With A Vertical Trip To Work !

It's truly a thing of beauty is it not ?
Is there any way I can cook this in space ?....or are we resigned to having crud food in zero G ?...can ANY cooking be done (out-of-the-pouch) ?
Or will we have to wait until we make those spinny type spacecraft with artificial gravity centrifugal things ?

Is it possible to make a gravity prep box for certain food prep?

Sorry that is very crude! But you get the idea eh???? cut and prepare in the unit perhaps even cook in the same unit from a slot at back of unit which serves as oven or cooking device... but that could be accessed the same way!

neil, is you question because of the lack of pressure in outer space making it difficult to heat things enough to cook them? or are you afraid the ingredients will not stay put in the pan w/o gravity to hold them there?
p.s. i'm not usually much of an omlette person; but that looks mighty tasty!

Are you obsessing about food again? If so, eat some yogurt, a pickle and a spoon of mayonnaises, jump up and down, then run to the loo.
I don't think the ingredients would stay together in zero G. Also pointed out above is the problem of keeping heat in a container.
