LOL....I could remind all that I do have in my collection something akin to that picture...something that I was so proud I took a photo of it !!..It was a rare thing of beauty....quality and quantity !

Something which when I suggested to the fam that we do a family collage they turned their nose up at it !!....I still know not why !! *le sigh*

That was quite lovely.. I am sorry it burnt down.. what a shame.... what was housed in the building? Was it a temple or place of worship?

Thats sad.. The city gate? You mean a "gate" gate.. like open and closing gate.. or a welcome building to the city!

MAybe they will rebuild it like the old one in honor of the first one!

There was a southern gate and a eastern gate..
The southern one is namdaemun which burnt down a month or two ago..
The eastern gate is still here, but is less old
