Title: How loud was the Big Bang?
Post by: turnipsock on 16/05/2008 00:44:17
How loud was the Big Bang?

If there was nothing, sound doesn't travel in a vacuum, so why is it called the 'Big Bang' if it was silent?

How much noise does a tree in the forest make when it falls with no human around? Or the sound of one hand clapping?

There is also the possibility that it was done by David Copperfield with smoke and mirrors (it didn't happen - theory is just that - theory.)

There is nothing like a scientist with a sense of humour, but don't expect to find many with imagination!!! logic and imagination are in opposite sides of the brain.
