Hi Chris and team,
The Chinese are known for skill in carving ornate ivory items and cutting delicate paper patterns and human hair pictures, etc. I presume this is detrimental to their eyesight.
Also, everyone knows the Chinese use Chinese characters in their language. In other countries we use the picture of a male or female to distinguish male and female toilets, so to that extent we are all similar, but I wonder if the Chinese brain is more geared towards the artistic than the rest of the world and might that be why they exhibit such skills and have a character based language? How say you?

If the incidence of creative persons is constant,
then there will be more creative people in China because there are more people in China than any other nation.

True, but is it anything to do with genetics OR is it simply that their education is superior compared to other nations and their minds are highly developed...Don't know actually, just a thought...

I dont think the chinese are creative at all. If they were, they wouldn't have to fake and copy everything.
If you look at the todays corporations, inventors, and innovating technologies, a negligible part comes from china. Their mentality of conformity does not fit well with innovation.
As for the toilet sign etc', this is just because they have a different unique culture.

There is no evidence that Chinese people are more creative than any other race or group of people. Everyone alive results from a migration 100,000 years ago from Africa so if there are any differences in skills or abilities bewteen different races or groups they evolved from adapting to different environments, that people adapted to survive just about everywhere on Earth demostrates a vast amount of creativity. Being half Scottish and half Chinese I will admit to believing that there are some genetic behavioural components related to races of groupings but with regards to creativity especially in relation to the "Arts" it is more a matter of current tastes that any objective measurement. I certainly wouldn't pay millions, if I had millions, for say a dead animal in a glass case or a painting of bunch of sunflowers, I could produce both myself.

Well, as far as chinese people go, IQ they are 5 to 10 points smarter than europeans.
however why is china a ****hole? well during the course of many centuries they were pool lead, japan struck them and crushed them like insect then Mao and its commie thugs had a go at it.

Government has a huge impact on how a country develops.
Chinese have the lowest level of testoterone, further proving the idea that yes they are most inteligent.
Less testoterone = more brain.
Thats in stone.Adaptation strategy.Lose something, for something else.Happens in all animals, viruses whatever.
dont know about the japs tho being smarter tho...

Not only Chinese Whole world is creative cos we humans are creative !!
But most of the Ground breaking discoveries and inventions are done by Asians(Indians too )
Now Japan is cool in electronics
Indian is cool in Math stuff (which change the world with 0 )
china is cool in ancient inventions but British ppl copied some War related inventions like rockets
Europe is also cool for it's own scientific discoveries
USA is also cool for it's own creativity !!
Here knowledge always shared and inter linked with each and everyone.no one is SUPERIOR nor INFERIOR .. it's always depends on once surroundings ... where we live and share our knowledge ..

only some show very good interest in science .. but not all .. very few
if u consider men most of discoveries and inventions were made by men . I know during ancient days those social problems for women. but still what now ? women are dominating men in Education and other stuff but not much in Science. why ?

yes good question !!
cos they need to score high in exams. so, they ask Questions which are related to their home work , not all ..only some of them post their concepts related to their studies . only some of them are truly love science stuff ....
I don't underestimate any one women or men cos they are equally respected humans ..!!
but I am just reveling the fact of present generation ..

The chinese used to be creative way back when, now they just take pictures of everything the japanese make and reverse engineer cheap copies.
