Title: Is there any relationship between what you say and the diseases you suffer?
Post by: Briana on 06/09/2008 15:46:01
Briana asked the Naked Scientists:

I've heard recently that there's a correlation between what you say and
the disease you can get, such as "he makes my head hurt"and you get a brain dysfunction, or "he's a pain in my ass" and have a GI
problem...is this the power of suggestion at work, or just a myth?

What do you think?

Yes. I used to walk down the street shouting abuse at people, "oi, you're a great lover"..."wow, thats big" and so forth.

Or it could be just a myth.
