Title: Are there any other uses for wind farms?

Nice eh? being delivered next Tuesday.

Are there any other uses for wind farms for when the wind runs out? Could solar power be used to drive the blades on hot days to produce a gentle cooling breeze? Could the wind farms be positioned beside coal fired power stations and excess power could be used to blow the smoke from the power station harmlessly out over the sea?

In the future when we all have our own personal space ships parked in the garage they could be used as Stella street signs.

You could hang your washing on them - it'd be dry in a trice.  It'd probably only need to go around once or twice.  A new take on the spin-dryer, perhaps [:)]

Leave them up for 4 thousand years and they could become the 61st century Stonehenge. They will probably think they were ancient worship sites.

They make great rotating cocktail sticks for giant pineapple and cheese chunks !..can't see why this was not picked on immediately !..it's blatant !

Great idea Neil, as cocktail stick, instead of a boring old umbrella! And what's more, you can turn them upside-down to stir your cocktail.
