Post by: DoctorBeaver on 05/11/2008 18:08:56
No, it's not what a lap-dancer wears! It's a type of shark.

There are lots of different wobbegongs! Gulf, Western, Japanese, Spotted, Ornate, Northern, Dwarf Spotted, Cobbler & False Cobbler.

I don't think I fancy having a Dwarf Spotted Wobbegong  [:P]

Um, I think it's WobbEgong too.

There is a very small Amazonian snake that has developed the tendency to wrap itself around a warm body for sleep, so after it has caught a rat or similar, it wraps itself around it for a snooze before eating it. The scientist who discovered it found it, erm, in his pants around his meat and two veg - the snake is called "constrictus genitalius".
