Yes, H N Y to you DoctorBeaver and everyone else on the forum.
Did you know that there's one of your kind on the loose after escaping with two females from a sanctuary in Devon? The females were recaptured but he is at large still; he is large too - 40kg.
Apparently Devon is 'ideal beaver country' and they escaped after heavy rain and rising water levels short-circuited their electric fence!

Have you been playing Mr Greengrocer hides the courgette again, naughty Beaver.

Happy New Year Doc Beaver. I hope that my favourite rodent's well.
Same goes for everyone too. Have a good, fun 2009 !!!

JOY! JOY! JOY! Happiness for one and all! Love, Caring, and the gifts of benevolent humanity for all in the coming year!
(I just love seeing my name in print)

That's a bit above average for a European beaver (Castor Fiber). Their usual weight is 32-37Kg although they have been known to reach 48Kg. They are about 30% larger than their American cousins Castor Canadensis (and considerably more intelligent! [:P] ).

Well, the frogs are why he wears leathers (untanned but leather none the less)

Of course they're untanned. I wouldn't leave my leathers out in the sun!
