Dearest Virusologists (Chris ?)

As a sheepy, if I was a virus, then the queue to be infected by me would circumnavigate the world ! Obvious isn't it ?

Do viruses attack each other ?..is that what an antibiotic does ? ahh..If I recall...antibiotics don't have an effect on viruses do they ?

So, can viruses also catch viruses ?

I don't know....I'd like to know...will ewe tell me ?

I don't think so, because a virus works by inserting its genetic information into a cell and the machinery of the cell reproduces the virus like a factory. Another virus cell wouldn't have this machinery in place to be able to replicate.

Viruses can affect one another: they can sort of breed (mix their genetic codes) if a host is simultaneously infected by two different types of virus ...
