In the answer to this question it says that other than the atmosphere possibly blowing you off, there would be no reason you would fly off the planet. But what about centrifugal force? Wouldn't that fling you off? That's why gravity is slightly less at the equator, because that is where it is most counter-acted by centrifugal force.
