Pupil wanted to know, As the density of dead sea is greater than regular seas, therefore more buoyancy, 'could you run on the dead sea', I suggested no, but you might be able to run in further before you 'sank / hit bottom', though that might make it less stable to run into, but not sure.... ideas please....

You could if you could move your legs fast enough (although your bones would probably not be strong enough to withstand the forces required to move them so quickly). People have driven across water, without relying upon floatation, by using relatively light vehicles fitted with wide, deeply treaded tyres. In some respects, running, or driving across water is similar to running/driving across loose dry sand.
