If there is no oxygen in space, how does the sun burn? There's probably an obvious explanation haha

The sun is presently in a stage of nuclear fusion; it is fusing hydrogen atoms to produce helium atoms. When it finishes with the hydrogen, it will begin fusing helium into more complex atoms, finally ending with oxygen and carbon. That is the current thinking as far as I know.
