well the fact is I love Biology too but I can't remember difficult words in Biology too .
Biology is like eX girl friend for me.
I love Evolution stuff more.
Favorite hero in Biology is C.Darwin and his book Origin of species. Biology rocks too

So chemistry does elements and compounds; it also does things like light and microwaves (there's a lot of spectrocopy in chemistry).
What exactly does that leave for the rest of science?

As do I, but really your poll only serves as a measure of how many biologists, chemists and physics buffs are on here...and who of those can be bothered to vote.
Maybe it shows that biologists are the only ones daft enough to vote... [:)]

Just think of DNA .. it structure depends on electrostatic between molecules holding it.
Just think of Nucleus it's being together by strong nuclear force. therefore Physics laws are Universal.
With out physics there is no chemical bonding nothing ! no life !!

Math came from basic understanding from nature . it nothing but measures Natural phenomena.
I admit that lots of understanding came from Math too. but to derive it we need to know what to find .. so it comes from Physics !!
Physics = Math both are related !!

And its not just weak electrostatic bonding that keeps DNA in the shape it is.

Since the physicists cannot (and never will) analytically solve the equations of motion for a simple system like two electrons orbiting a helium nucleus (that's the so-called three body problem), it's ridiculous for them to say that physics is what explains everything.
Life was here before the physicists and it will probably be here after they have gone.

Ok ! I got it but How on earth you would expect to calculate physicist to do that, as you know they have not even finalized the atomic models.

think about this most of biology today is being studied using Physics Instruments.
no matter whatever you do you can't escape from physics and Math !!
