Title: Site maintanance wed 4th Aug
Post by: daveshorts on 04/08/2009 15:20:11
Hi
I will be doing some maintenance tomorrow morning to upgrade the software that runs our main site. This will involve locking the forum for up to an hour tomorrow morning (UK time).
  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Probably around 10-11am by the time I have set everything up. In theory it will go smoothly and I wouldn't have to lock the forum, but there is just a possibility of it going horribly wrong and have to recover from a backup so I would rather lock it and avoid loosing any posts.

Ok the forum is back, it all went smoothly as far as I can see. If you notice any new bugs (particularly with the main site) I would really like to know. Thanks

I just had a fly land on the monitor whilst displaying this page.  It is a new bug.

Ah yes, but that's a bug on your system, not the forum.
