Lovely water color - Right?
(https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe111%2Fgeezer69%2Fduck.jpg&hash=01150710b5d9d2e8088031dd74541131)
BUT besides the poor quality of the picture due to the dirty glass over it and the flash burn in the middle of it, what is wrong with this picture?
No! it has nothing to do with hunting!
-
The mallards legs seem to be attached to his back instead of of on the front where they should be!
-
either that or his wing are on upside down. Good work!
It was given to me over a year ago and I just noticed it.
-

Oh, just Duck it! That is just strange!!
-
This is ducking ridiculous.
-
Which of those three ducks was the model for JimBob's picture? It couldn't have been the small one, but it could have been eider of the other two.
-
I put the last post down to ignorance - not the suspected insanity.
-
Suspected insanity??? Have I ever posed as Napoleon or the Mandarin of TNS?
-
No, but you HAVE posted as the Duchess of York.
-
It is obvious, therefore, that these two posters are loons who are an obvious threat to society.
If it pleases the court, I rest my case, mallard.
-
Pay no attention to this, Dukcie Don. This GOOSE has no appreciation for humor.

.. I wonder what happened to ... the artist... ?
Try googling their name, if you can read it, (I can't).

[BTW the duck image is +360Kb. Do admin get to post bigger attachments than us lesser mortals ? ]

I think that is because it's a hotlinked photobucket image and not one that has been directly loaded.

I thought I had my browser set to stop that sort of thing, I'll have to review the settings.

Clickjacking doesn't sound like fun ...
A clickjacked page tricks a user into performing undesired actions by clicking on a concealed link.

the easiest thing to do is avoid dodgy websites. of course, that may not be a possibility sometimes..

RD - Did you see the post Neil did in 2005 about "How to Post Pictures?"
It has been there for all this time and has been used by MANY people since then.

The duck image and the URL are both hotlinks, if I put my cursor on the URL "http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e111/geezer69/duck.jpg" my browser recognises it as a link, whereas when put the cursor on the image it doesn't recognise the image is a link: it is a concealed link. I wrongly though my browser was set to identify concealed links, so mistakenly thought the duck image was an attachment.
