Title: How does my navel area turn of Sodium street lights?
Post by: Roni on 21/10/2009 12:31:17
When I come near to Sodium street lights they switch off and when I move away they come back on again.  This only happens with certain lights and I think it is when they get old.  If I am near these lights a lot they eventually fail totally.  I have demonstrated this to a number of people.  Sometimes when it happens I feel a tingling in my navel area.  Any ideas?

The lamps go on and off randomly: your presence is not causing them to change state.
If you asked nearby residents they would tell you they go on-off even when people are not passing.

Being randonly plunged into darkness when walking along a strange street would cause some people to have butterflies in their stomach.

How do you know what the street lamp is doing when you are not there ?.

[BTW If your presence prevents electric lamps from working how do you light your home ? ]

If you can really tun lights on and off "magically" then you should go to the James Randi site and claim the million dollars.

When Sodium lamps are switched off they need several minutes to cool down before they will re ignite again. An old failing Sodium lamp will go off, cool down and then come back on for a brief period before repeating the cycle.
