Hi People,
i've been getting the odd chain email. As usual it promises nice things if I forward it on to ten people and bad stuff if I don't !...well, I'm not supersticious and think all of this is a load of twaddle....if YOU are receiving emails like this please feel free to send them to me and i`ll happily delete them.
Men are the same as women.... just inside out !! (https://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.world-of-smilies.com%2Fhtml%2Fimages%2Fsmilies%2Fparty%2Fballoons.gif&hash=f9f40e7ab655ca9089398c3f3719f593)

I stopped doing them a few years ago and I've not noticed any change in luck, devils lurking round the corner or black clouds hovering above my head.

luck is something you make yourself by increasing your opportunities. the more you try the more luck you will have.

Of course it could go the other way.
If you try more you could also have more bad luck.
For more information see Danny Wallaces book on what happens when you say yes. I'm reading it at the moment it's very good.

but you can still win the lottery with only one set of numbers - even buying a ream of tickets won't increase your chances by that much, so you can't really make this luck by increasing your opportunities. that must be lucky!
perhaps it depends on the way you see things. i was lucky I wasn't killed by car this morning (really, I am) but if I was hit by a car, would I then be unlucky? whats neutral? staying at home with no risk or even meeting a car perhaps?
