Title: All excited
Post by: DRZ400 on 03/03/2010 21:32:44
I came across this site whilst looking for a science/technology based radio station.

Although my search resulted in no 24/7 station, I've downloaded all of the podcasts which should keep me busy whilst I cycle around Hampshire.  [;D]

Thanks ... from what I've heard it sounds really good.

Thanks .... It does leave me asking the question as to why there isn't a dedicated science and technology radio station in the UK.

I did not know there wasn't one.. when I listen I sometimes catch this live if I am smart enough to remember to turn it on. My lap top prevents me doing it the connection is too slow.. but on my big computer when I have it hooked to the net, it is fun to listen whilst enjoying the forum at the same time.

Hope you have loads of fun listening ..Please do participate as much as you like in here..I assume you read the forum policy and use forms.. they should answer any questions if not feel free to ask and someone will do their best to reply with an answer... just remember sometimes there is a delay in answers as our members contributing all have lives other then here, but they are outstanding for assisting with answers as soon as they are able.. sometimes quick response sometimes a day or too.. you never know.. but the information is always good and the folks are friendly so please enjoy yourself.. and ask and answer away where you feel most comfortable...

I only had one question and that was "What would happen to the Earth if the moon was knocked out of orbit" ... but that was answered in one of the New Scientist books and I believe it's on one of the podcasts too.

Well the podcasts certainly made 3 hours cycling around Hampshire a damn sight more pleasurable. Really enjoyed them and I'm looking forward to downloading future episodes*. :)

*Maybe some time though as I've got 237 to get through!
