I am just curios because I was thinking I am right handed but I did notice today that I am predominantly a left sided chewer when it comes to chewing my food. Is there any correlation or studies done on humans in the subject of chewing foods, either right or left side dominance and perhaps any corelation with the whole left hand right hand thing...
I chew GUM predominantly on my RIGHT jaw teeth and the food that is to be ground and swallowed to my LEFT jaw teeth...
I know bout the back teeth for grinding etc front for biting etc.. but basically has there been any studies to link the dominant side to weight of person or any other weird statistics?

Well I dont know of any studies Karen, but I think at times people do eat on one side of the mouth instead a of the other, for reasons of habit or because of a bad tooth- which could then lead to a habit, until the other side gets a bad tooth also, then you cry, or change sides again and get a new habit.

Do you think left sided chewers are more creative?

I would thought people that chew on both would be actually.

It is more likely that it is the same as left handed and right but ambidextrous chewers might be the ones to back.

Yes indeed I do see and understand that line of thought, although I weighed that and I have no problems like that to cause that favoritism of one side or the other.

That is a thought but I do not know...? I wonder if the actual act of eating is either right or a left brained in action, and if so could that also determine the side you chew on?
-
What you forgot to think about is that there are also front side chewers and that just leaves the backside chewers, [:P]

lol....lol...lol....lol......naughty boy!!! LOL...Yes I did forget about that!...lol

eventually u learn where the food gets stuck & that is a factor, depending on ur criteria?
