Title: If cuckoos have no other birds to parasitise, can they build their own nest?
Post by: mychael on 19/06/2010 07:54:24
I'm aware that some though not all of the Cuckoo family of birds are brood parasitic (laying their eggs in other birds nest). If a pair of brood parasitic cuckoo's are isolated so they have no other nests to use will they breed and successfully raise their own young?
