Title: What is the cost of protein sequencing?

In order to prove the hypothesis "Human free secretory component is composed of the first 585 amino acid residues of the polymeric immunoglobulin receptor", do you need to run protein sequencing?

Anyone have an idea of how much it costs for sequencing protein,say human trypsin? My estimation is 400 pounds, is it far less?
