What other affects does the moon have upon the earth that may be or may not be a controversy?

Now, the question is:
Does it affect smaller bodies of water and/or the solids and life within?
Seas, Great Lakes, smaller lakes, rivers... right down to the most important, small jug of freshly aged home made wine in the barrel?

By solids do you include the brain too?
And a full moon by any chance..

Bring me a jug.

Maybe this explains "The Angels' Share"?
