hi science friends! this is not technically a science question but as an art and design student i am interested in advertising and i was actually interested how all of you discovered the naked scientists? i happened to stumble across them online as i am not from cambridgeshire but how did you all discover them? through the internet? from the radio? do they have any posters or flyers that caught your eye? please let me know. thank you! [:)]

I found it by googling (physics forums), and tried several, i opted for this one.

I was looking for another science forum where I could adopt a different persona to the trite, offensive, aggressive, patronising, presumptuous one I typically adopt. I found this one (the site, not the persona) using a google search.

I found the naked scientist when i was looking at different science podcasts on itunes :)

I listened to the radio show 1st. I sent in a question which didn't get answered on air; but Chris sent me a reply email asking if I'd post it in the forum. Prior to that I didn't even know it existed.

Introduced to the idea by my boyfriend. It kinda stuck.

I wish I could remember how I found this site...NO, I wasn't looking for 'naked' stuff....I must have heard the show first and then came to investigate....I'm still deciding if I should stay or not...I do so hate rushing in to things !!

Chris - indeed you did, thank you. Mind you, it's left me even more confused. Do I have to do molecular analysis on all my waste plastic to work out what can be recycled & what can't?
After the show I looked on the web to check the council's carrier bag recycling policy. On there it said it's because the plastic clogs the machines; yet the circular we got said it was due to the bio-degradable bags needing sorting out. Now I don't know what to believe.
By the way, did my dead fish question ever get asked? I missed a few weeks.
