Seeing as the radioactivity of the sea near the fukushima plant is increasing I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas as how best to stop and contain it? So what is a good way to remove radioactive particles from water?
Here they discuss the Banana, and it's uses in cleaning water.

If you wanted to use bananas what would be the best way to deploy them?

To reduce it's impact

Letting the radioactive contamination disperse would reduce its impact.

Considering that we do not know what it's impact will actually be, I ponder how you can be so unconcered about it's dispersial. Whatever that impact will be removing some of the radioactive material will reduce it.
