Title: Do infants benefit from full fat milk?
Post by: Eric Hollis on 01/06/2011 15:30:02
Eric Hollis  asked the Naked Scientists:

Hello Chris

I wonder if you would consider fielding this question for me.  Do infants benefit from the fat in blue-top milk or does the saturated fat lay down in an infant's cardio-vascular system, too?  The research seems mixed.

My wife and I run a daycare here in New Zealand and we are concerned to provide the best nutrition and health advice to our families.

Love the show (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/HTML/podcasts/) - our whole family listens (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/HTML/podcasts/) with great interest.

Regards

Prof Eric Hollis
