Post by: CZARCAR on 12/06/2011 22:08:14
I use sawdust & dont want to change to litter or whatever if it costs more. As is, the urine smell enhances the air. Been spraying bleachified bathroom cleaner so to neutrilize ammonia? Any suggestions?.......thanx

Nice suggestion BC, but I think I'd be inclined to go along with Geezer's idea. Kick the cat out.

Why do cat owners have this litter tray? I don't know of dog owners who have one, so why should cats?

cat is almost 20 & never had a litter"box" until recently. I do have a sawdust pile in the cellar I burn for heat & cat used that forever but the stairs have gotten to him with aging so he started pissing in different places. 1 day, i caught him pissing in a 5gal. bucket containing sawdust so I took the hint & set up a litterbox.

Well, you fill it with some more sawdust covering it, when you notice.
But that you already do, right :)
