very interesting article, the details are very brief. Yes The brain does not control the immune response. there are a few mechanisms that will trigger the production of antibodies. They are very complex and will require a whole college course to go through them. Our bodies are strong enough to fight off these diseases. All we need to do to help our bodies are to relax and drink lots of water.

I'd appreciate if people could  have a look at my post  (http://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/index.php?topic=41173.0)on the new theories forum which may be connected somewhat, I believe I have learnt as a form of self harm to consciously manipulate body processes.
