Having watched the odd match or two , I have noticed that some pitches look like they are being invaded by balls of cotton wool floating about !!....are they invaders from the planet Fluff ?..if not...what are they ?....presumably some sort of plant or could it be someone with a truly serious skin condition ?...I mean these fluffy bits are big !!...I imagine quite yucky coughing will ensue should one happen to swallow some ...

The players are being made to use hot air blowers on their belly buttons prior to stepping on to the pitch. The fluffy balls you have seen are merely the expelled belly button fluff of the more fluff-attracting Sth American footballers.

...as a collector of my own belly button fluff , I am experiencing a slight moment of ambiguity regarding your answer there Dr Eth. Whilst,I would normally bow to your obvious profuse knowledge with ebullience I must mention that serious belly button fluff collectors (like myself) know that the hue and tone of said fluff is usually blue !....now..I wonder if the geography has a lot to do with it.
Hmmmmm....perhaps you have insider dealings and knowledge of South American Belly Buttons....which....knowing you.....you probably do ! [:)]

Oh dear, Neil... surely you realise that most Sth American countries are hot so the fluff gets bleached by the sun. tsk! [^]

Hmmm !!..It's raining here now, so I just rang my local South American Restaurant ' El Fluffo D'Blue'Oh ' and they confirm it's also raining !!...hmmmm !! and it's only 20 degrees C ! [:D]
