Title: levitation
Post by: billycop32 on 08/04/2013 04:00:04
alright, so there is positive, negitive, and neutral. positive and negative attract to each other, but positive and positive repel each other.
so here is my idea
a compond that, when correctly made, naturally repel normal elements. thus creating a levitation like effect.
also, anything that does not have a positive or negative charge to it would also be repelled, so if you had enough of the compond around something, it could act as a "shields"

this thread isn't about about the existence of such a compound yet, as we would know if it did (flying cars, sheilds, etc...)
but the question is: can a compound or element be made to naturally repeal neutral compounds and elements?

A Majorana fermion compound that reacts very easily to touching another particle would switch polarity. But your inner body would fly apart. YUK!

I suppose that's what anti-matter does on contact with internal parts. They explode. It's not pure anti-matter then.

yes, anti-matter does produces quite a bit of energy when it touches matter
but that isn't what my idea is about
it's about matter repelling matter, like positive repeals positive.
do you understand?

I never said anything about anti-matter energy. I said that Majorana fermions switch polarity. Frogs have been made to levitate.
