I photographed this lovely Damselfly today on the Rive Nore outside Kilkenny

AMAZING !!..what a fantastic photo...such a talent you have words and pictures.

No I don’t think so from what I have seen Dragonflies never close their wings back like these do. They also have two sets of wings that seem to rotate separately when they hover. I never seen this action in a Damselfly but I am no expert.

Nice leaf and i particulary like the way how you managed to catch the suns rays reflecting off its surface. Wicked man.

You must have been well anoyed when that stupid fly landed on the leaf as you were taking your shot.

next time  take some fly spray with you[:)]
