Title: Could quantum tunnelling account for the lumpy early universe?
Post by: thedoc on 24/07/2013 13:30:01
Louis Clement-Harris  asked the Naked Scientists:

Could the lumpiness of the early universe be caused by quantum tunneling?

The early particles would have peen packed tightly enough together to allow tunneling and this would have injected randomness, and thus lumpiness into the system.
