Title: H2 Fusion
Post by: jaiii on 16/10/2013 20:31:03
Good day.

I'm working on my project that needs a powerful source of energy.

Where can I consider for doing so:

We have a charged metal sphere at negative high voltage 1E7 V. In the center of the sphere is zero potential.
The sphere is filled with H2, DiĆitiom and tritium under low pressure and interior temperatures of about 4000 K. Voltage will increase over time.
Is it possible to run the fusion in this environment?

If not what should be changed?

thank you
Bye.

You could make it look something more like this: http://omegataupodcast.net/2009/12/22-nuclear-fusion-at-mpi-fur-plasmaphysik/

But seriously, so far, no-one has published a method to produce controlled nuclear fusion. But that podcast will give you some clues about what is involved.
